About the Role

TTNL Group is seeking skilled Data Engineers passionate about data analytics and engineering. If you have experience with tools like Apache Hadoop, Kafka, Nifi, Spark, Splunk, ELK, and Watson, and want to further develop your expertise in data analytics and engineering, this role is for you!

As a Data Engineer, you’ll design, optimize, scale, and automate workflows that connect end-users to on-premise and cloud data sources. You’ll monitor data flows, perform root cause analyses, and identify unusual behaviors in digital environments – helping to prevent fraud and improve system reliability.

You’ll bridge the gap between data, infrastructure, and processes, using Infrastructure as Code, Automation Deployment, and CI/CD technologies. This position offers the flexibility to focus on either data analytics or infrastructure processes, depending on your interests and strengths.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect and monitor data across the entire chain from end-users to on-premise sources
  • Analyze systems to identify failures and prevent issues
  • Design, optimize, scale, and automate data workflows and pipelines
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code, Automation Deployment, and CI/CD tools
  • Build streaming processes for real-time monitoring and alerting on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and IBM Cloud
  • Collaborate with data scientists to enable machine learning models and operationalize them
  • Test, document, and advise on implemented solutions

  • HBO or university degree completed
  • Excellent command of Dutch and good proficiency in English
  • Eager learner and analytical thinker, ready to tackle complex challenges

Your Expertise

  • Programming and scripting languages: Java, Python, Bash
  • Extracting data from diverse cloud and infrastructure sources, including Splunk, ELK-stack, and Watson
  • CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Automation Deployment
  • Designing and building data pipelines using Kafka and Nifi
  • Creating streaming processes for real-time network monitoring and alerting in cloud environments
  • Supporting data scientists with reliable data flows
  • Contributing to or operationalizing machine learning models
  • Familiarity with statistical tools such as SPSS, SPSS Modeler, R is a plus
